EF Contract expands design options for the Kinetex line with the introduction of Sound & Surface. The flooring solution combines the performance attributes of hard surface with the softness and warmth of carpet.

The patterns are inspired by traditional carpet design while exhibiting the depth and texture achieved within the Kinetex platform. EF Contract’s High-Def Color Technology creates crisp color, vibrant patterns, and dimensional design. The neutral base colorways offer a variety of accent color options. These subtle offerings allow for effective wayfinding or branding throughout a space, making Sound & Surface a good option for corporate, education, and retail interiors.

The 24” x 24” tile was colored and patterned to create a seamless floor with very little visible distinction between tiles. Sound & Surface also coordinates thoughtfully with existing EF Contract LVT and carpet offerings, providing a full suite of flooring solutions.

Kinetex is complete with key performance and sustainability attributes. With its lifetime warranty, withstanding foot traffic and continued use is guaranteed. Kinetex contains no less than 45% post-consumer recycled content, with one 24” x 24” tile containing 27 recycled plastic bottles. The sustainable attributes of Kinetex are backed by a Red List Free DECLARE label, NSF/ANSI-140 Platinum qualification, and its product transparency is highlighted with an EPD and HPD. Additionally, Kinetex is carbon neutral.
