Bella Flooring Group is getting back into the carpet tile business with a new program designed for larger retailers and mid-sized distribution. 

"About a year ago, one of our best clients came to us and asked us did we have any options or had we thought about going back into carpet tile business?" said Bella President Paul Dominie. "They asked and they asked again, and so we put together a program design for them and they loved it, and then we decided we will launch it nationwide."

The Dynamic collection, which will officially launch in December, is suitable for Main Street and standard specifications, constructed with 18-oz solution-dyed nylon with a PVC back and offered in four colors. 

"It's a middle of the road, very well designed and built," Dominie said. "We did four colors, and you can use it in multiple situations, but the convenience of it and the uniqueness of the pattern, I think, is what's going to get the most traction."

Dominie said he expects the carpet tile category to grow extensively in 2024. 

"We are looking at good solid growth again next year," he said. "We are working with a couple key distribution groups that we think are going to have a major impact on our company, that we are within seconds of having secured lines put out by them. We've been in business five years and we've got a lot of companies that want to partner with us, and so we're getting opportunities at the manufacturing level to expand our horizon into other countries, other continents due to us having a sustained business model—that's all really exciting for us."
