Phius, the non-profit organization committed to decarbonization in the built environment will integrate its annual conference, PhiusCon, into the Greenbuild International Conference + Expo in 2024 to expand the reach of passive building education.

On November 12-15, 2024, Greenbuild will take place in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and will feature hundreds of education sessions on critical topics for building professionals. In addition to Greenbuild's world-class education, Phius will lead programming for a 2024 pre-conference Greenbuild Summit as well as sessions focused on passive building projects, strategies, and innovations. Additionally, Phius will host a pavilion of passive building suppliers on the Greenbuild expo floor.

Passive building principles are voluntary standards for energy efficiency in a building, which reduces the building's ecological footprint—a topic Greenbuild has featured in the past.

The decision to integrate PhiusCon with Greenbuild 2024 is a testament to the commitment of Phius to work with mission-aligned partners like USGBC that share a common vision for reshaping the built environment to protect our health, communities, and climate.
