Republic Floor Germany made its debut at Salone del Mobile Milano 2024 as part of its campaign to establish the Bigger 5 SPC flooring brand as synonymous with quality and style.

Launched in Milan, Italy, in 1961 to promote Italian exports of furnishing and accessories, Salone del Mobile Milano has become a global benchmark event for the furnishing and design sector attracting more than 400,000 visitors from more than 180 countries. Over 2,000 exhibitors showcase their products across 210,000 square meters of exhibition space.

This year at Salone, Republic Floor Germany partnered with Your Floor, a wholesaler based in Wijk bij Duurstede, Netherlands, for an exclusive collaboration with the Dutch interior design brand Linteloo. Republic Floor Germany supplied 150 squre meters of Bigger 5 Grizzly Bankster SPC flooring and 75 square meters of Bankster Dryback flooring to outfit the space.  

Martin Dettmer, director of international sales and marketing for Republic Floor Europe, together with Republic Floor Germany’s Senior Executive Vice President Bernard Grünaug, said they meticulously selected the right colors and developed unique decors for Republic Floor Europe. These choices were showcased at Salone del Mobile Milano, which is considered an essential event for anyone involved in the design industry, providing invaluable insights into the future of design and the direction in which the industry is heading, Republic Floor said. 

Despite being a relatively new player in the European market, Republic Floor Germany reports that the Bigger 5 Collection is now available in every European county thanks to the company's partnerships, such as this year's exhibition at Salone.
