Gerflor relaunched is environmentally-friendly Mipolam Symbioz homogeneous flooring with enhanced environmental contribution. The flooring now features an improved carbon footprint, emitting 40% less CO2 than the average homogeneous flooring.

Building upon its previous success of 100% bio-based plasticizer, Mipolam Symbioz now incorporates an even higher percentage of bio-based materials, resulting in an impressive 25% bio content. By prioritizing the use of renewable resources, Gerflor is reducing reliance on fossil fuels and further contributing to a circular economy.

Mipolam, first launched in 1937, offers a life expectancy of over 20 years. Gerflor reimagined Mipolam Symbioz to further minimize its environmental footprint while maintaining its superior performance and durability. It will retain the original visual and easy maintenance and installation, making it a convenient choice for projects of any size, the company said.
