The most coveted awards in the commercial interior design industry are given at NeoCon, and HMTX Industries was honored by the top three - Interior Design HiP, Metropolis Likes, and Best of NeoCon Awards - for excellence in flooring.

Two Interior Design Hip Awards Honorees: The Frankie & Flow Collections

HMTX’s Frankie Collection of SRP TPU Flooring, debuting a NeoCon, was an Honoree in the Hospitality Flooring category of the Interior Design HiP Awards, which celebrate the products and people pushing boundaries and defining the future of design. The Frankie Collection epitomizes rock star Eddie Van Halen’s genius in both design vision and composition: a classic, yet modern take on a concrete visual with a unique pattern embossing, inspired by the lines seen on Van Halen’s unique, prized Frankenstrat guitar. The custom emboss and design play together to create a captivating visual. Designed to be circular, approximately two plastic bottles are upcycled into each square foot of SRP TPU Flooring and built into a simple chemistry that allows the planks to be upcycled into new flooring post use, while maintaining optimal performance and quality.

Honoree in the HiP Workplace: Hard Flooring category, the Flow Collection of LVP flooring captures the many representations of how life’s beauty is found within both the calm and the clash. Flow features two mixed media designs, one wood, one stone, both with swatches of linen, creating a stippled felt-like visual effect or a small-scale concrete-like visual texture. The third Flow is a monochromatic linen.

Metropolis Likes Award Winner: Healthscapes

Teknoflor’s new Healthscapes HPD TPU Flooring Collection from HMTX Commercial won the Flooring category of the Metropolis Likes Awards. Selected by METROPOLIS editors, the winning products represent the very best in responsible innovation. A sophisticated take on traditional homogeneous sheet flooring, the collection features the classic terrazzo aesthetic within a soothing, flexible palette for abundant design possibilities. Uniquely engineered with a Thermoplastic Polyurethane (TPU) as a vinyl alternative, and designed to be circular, Teknoflor Healthscapes TPU Flooring also offers enhanced durability and infection control.

Best Of Neocon Silver Award: The Frankie Collection

The Frankie Collection won again with the Best of NeoCon Silver Award in the Hard Surface - Natural Material & Specialty category. The finale of the awards and the official program for NeoCon, Best of NeoCon honors outstanding new products from NeoCon-exhibiting companies.
