Mike Drinkard, who held the position of national sales manager for Crain Tools based in Milpitas, California, from 1981 to 2014, passed away on June 17, 2024, at the age of 78 in Morrison, Colorado. 

For 33 years, Drinkard helped professional floorcovering accessories distributors across the Western U.S. and Canada build their businesses. He also provided quality training seminars at union apprenticeship centers and distributor branch locations. He was a strong advocate of training flooring installers and distributor salespeople and became one of the best trainers in the industry, according to Crain Tools VP Lance Crain.

He is survived by his wife, Geri; two children John and Mike; five grandchildren, and one great-grandson.
