Bostik Offers Total System Approach to Private Label Building Envelope Market

Bostik, the adhesive solutions segment of Arkema, provides brand owners the ability to offer their contractors a total system approach in the private label building envelope market. Rather than relying on building envelope tapes, adhesives and sealants from different suppliers, Bostik’s total system approach allows all products to come from one supplier, reducing complexities that can occur for both brand owners and contractors.

By offering a total system approach, Bostik can help:

  • Reduce product logistical complexity: A total system approach helps the brand owner streamline their own project management, which includes easily coordinating lead times and delivery dates with contractors.
  • Increase installation expertise: By learning the best practices for a brand using products from one supplier, contractors can enhance their expertise to save time and improve output quality. Utilizing reliable products will also help them build brand owner trust.
  • Ensure long-term product compatibility: With products that are designed to be compatible upfront, contractors are reassured the building envelope can maintain long-term performance; this also helps improve overall brand reputation.
  • Improve overall aesthetic: Using materials from the same supplier provides uniformity when viewing a construction site, helping to increase trust for both contractors and brand owners within their individual businesses.

To those utilizing the total system approach, Bostik also offers:

  • Broad product offering to help ensure brand owners choose the right products for their contractors' needs
  • Trial testing to increase product success likelihood in the field on specific substrates and improve efficiencies
  • Vertical integration so that brand owners can receive products when and where they need them
