Domotex Asia/Chinafloor 2024 brought the worldwide flooring community together in China for the 26th edition from May 28-30 at the Shanghai National Exhibition and Convention Centre (NECC). The post-show report on the event is now available for download.

The show featured 1,600 companies and brands from 40 different countries showcasing their newest products and cutting-edge technologies in a gross exhibiting area of 230,000 square meters, spanning over 8 halls. Show management reported that the overwhelming increase in international visitors indicates that China remains a crucial player in the flooring industry. Together with the nearby growing Asian markets, it offers great development opportunities for everyone in the flooring business. 

Highlights:

• 83,850 total visitors from 117 countries, of which 17,923 international
• 25% increase of international visitors over the 2023 show
• 57% of international visitors were from Asia. The Asian countries that grew the most were the Philippines, United Arab Emirates, Malaysia, India, and Japan.
• Europe returned to make up the second largest visitation origin, accounting for 21% of the total international visitors. 
• There was a significant increase in the audience from South China and Northeast China. The provinces that grew the most were Heilongjiang, Jilin, Guangdong, and Hebei. 
• The fastest-growing visitor categories were architects & interior designers, exceeding 30% over 2023.
• The overall visitor satisfaction rate was 8.9 out of 10.

Domotex Asia/Chinafloor will return to the NECC May 26-28, 2025. Booth applications received before November 8, 2024, enjoy a 5% early bird discount. Flooring manufacturers including Bona, Bulckaert, CFL, Daejin, Eletile (HMTX), Haima Carpet, Huali Floors, i4F, KDF, Kingdom, Novalis, Paulig, Swiss Krono, Unilin, Uny Floors, Valinge, to name a few, have already confirmed their presence at next year’s show.
