Swedish flooring technology leader Välinge Innovation has announced its membership in the North American Resilient Floor Covering Institute (RFCI).

"RFCI is the leading industry association for resilient flooring in the US, and we are excited to join," said Iris Meana Prada, key account manager at Välinge Innovation. The company said it plans to leverage its comprehensive industry knowledge, gained from working across the entire value chain, to contribute to RFCI's initiatives.

RFCI President and CEO Bill Blackstock expressed enthusiasm about the new membership, noting that Välinge brings "a wonderful perspective" to the organization.

Välinge, which operates a large research and development center, is expected to advance product quality and performance standards within the resilient flooring category.
