Egypt is poised to enter the global SPC flooring market as Kamston Company announces a licensing agreement with i4F, a leading provider of patents and technologies to the flooring industry.

The agreement grants Kamston exclusive rights to utilize i4F's innovative drop-lock technologies in Egypt's first-ever Stone Plastic Composite (SPC) flooring production facility, located near Cairo. With a planned capacity of approximately 6 million square meters, the state-of-the-art plant will commence operations in the third quarter of 2025.

"We have a vision to lead the flooring industry in the Middle East as well as to expand internationally," said Kamston Group CEO Mohamed Ragab. "We are proud to be the first company in Egypt to establish a manufacturing facility for SPC products."

The facility will operate according to the highest international standards and incorporate energy-efficient processes to minimize environmental impact. Kamston plans to utilize i4F's drop-lock installation system and unique single-panel HerringB/ONE technology.

This strategic investment positions Kamston to serve both domestic and international markets with high-quality "Made in Egypt" products. The company's location near Cairo provides logistical advantages for global exports, supporting Egypt's industrial and economic development objectives.

The partnership between Kamston and i4F represents a significant milestone in Egypt's manufacturing sector, combining local production capabilities with cutting-edge flooring technology.

"With Kamston's strong legacy in delivering innovative construction solutions, we are confident they are well-positioned to provide durable and visually stunning SPC flooring suitable for residential and commercial projects at home in Egypt as well as the Middle East, and beyond," said i4F CEO John Rietveldt.
