Tarkett has announced its Johnsonite 2025 Colors of the Year collection, featuring six nature-inspired colors that bring the outdoors into commercial interior spaces. The new palette—Under the Sea, Luminesce, Neon Nature, Kinetic, Soft Optics, and Mystical—draws inspiration from flora, fauna, and bioluminescent creatures.

"These six colors are a testament to how the natural world communicates, attracts and builds community," explained Janette Murray, Johnsonite's color expert who developed the palette. "Each shade embodies the beauty and purpose of nature's most remarkable designs, inviting us to speak boldly and live harmoniously in spaces that feel vibrant and alive."

The new colors range from an energetic blue reminiscent of ocean depths to a neon yellow-green that captures the vitality of lush foliage. Also included are a bright turquoise symbolizing clarity, a vibrant pink-violet expressing playfulness, an energizing orange like a sunlit horizon, and a deep, grounding shade that echoes the mystery of night.

Available across all Johnsonite products—including wall base, rubber tile, stairwell management solutions, and finishing accessories—the new colors can stand alone or be combined with the brand's 114 standard colors.

The collection works with Johnsonite's Color System, which includes Color Foundations and ColorMatch®, designed to simplify coordination across Tarkett's flooring products.
