Hemp fiber is a natural bast fiber from the industrial hemp crop that is durable and moisture-wicking. During its growth, the hemp plant captures carbon dioxide, storing it in the soil and in the plant mass itself. Due to industrial hemp’s carbon sequestering capabilities, FiberPad has a minimal carbon footprint, so it isn’t just a healthier interior product choice, it’s a more sustainable option as well. FiberPad is treated with bio-based fire retardants that are Red List ingredient-free and tested in accordance with International Building Code Standards.
