Schluter-Systems Introduces No-Demolition Drain Conversion Solutions for Modern Shower Applications

Schluter-Systems announced two innovative solutions that modernize drainage systems without demolition.
The new Kerdi-Line-A adaptor kit enables the retrofit of existing clamping ring drains for use with Kerdi-Line linear drains. The redesigned Kerdi-Drain-A adaptor kit now offers greater compatibility with a broader range of clamping ring drains and now also accommodates tileable grates. By converting traditional two-stage drains with pan liners to bonding flange drains, the installation benefits from a complete, integrated bonded waterproofing system ensuring a watertight assembly and long-lasting performance. With these adaptor rings, installers can seamlessly upgrade existing drains, saving time and money by keeping the original installation intact.
To accompany these two adaptor kits, the Kerdi-Shower-CB compensation board is now available in a 1-inch (25 mm) thickness designed to accommodate the height of the adaptor ring, providing a simple solution for a flush installation with Schluter prefabricated shower trays.

• Can easily be cut to size to fit around the adaptor ring
