I4F to Unveil Material-Specific Flooring Technologies at Domotex Asia/ChinaFloor 2025

I4F, a leading provider of patents and technologies to the flooring industry, announced it will showcase its expanded portfolio of material-specific innovations at Domotex Asia/ChinaFloor 2025, taking place May 26-28 at the Shanghai Exhibition Center. Located at Hall 7.2, Booth C15, the company will demonstrate how tailored technologies can optimize performance across different flooring materials.
This year's exhibition strategy focuses on i4F's "one size doesn't fit all" philosophy, presenting customized solutions for vinyl, laminate, wood, ceramics, and emerging sustainable materials. The company's management team will be present throughout the three-day event to discuss the latest developments in drop-lock installation systems and board compositions.
"We know one size doesn't fit all and so this year at Domotex Asia/ChinaFloor, we are deep diving into durability and flexibility per material type," said i4F CEO John Rietveldt. "We are focused on LVT, SPC, WPC, ceramics, laminate and wood as well as exciting future-proof PET/PP resilient flooring technologies and outdoor solutions."
A highlight of i4F's exhibition will be the introduction of i4F Ceramic Click, a patented system that brings the benefits of floating floor, drop-lock installation to ceramic tiles. This innovation allows for easier installation of ceramic flooring while maintaining the authentic beauty of real ceramic materials.
The company will also showcase sustainable board compositions featuring PET and PP technologies that deliver lightweight yet strong flooring solutions. These recyclable materials represent i4F's commitment to environmental sustainability while meeting performance demands in the resilient flooring category.
Acoustic improvement remains a priority, with i4F presenting technologies that significantly enhance sound absorption while delivering a softer feel in both laminate and SPC (Stone Polymer Composite) products. These innovations address growing consumer demand for quieter, more comfortable flooring solutions in residential and commercial applications.
Outdoor decking technologies will round out i4F's comprehensive display, demonstrating the company's expansion beyond interior flooring applications. These weather-resistant solutions maintain the ease of installation that i4F is known for while withstanding outdoor environmental challenges.
"Our most advanced techniques can deliver bespoke technologies per material and board compositions, taking into account differing multi-layer build-ups and thicknesses," Rietveldt added, emphasizing the company's technical capabilities in addressing specific material requirements.
