Hiring News: Lititz Flooring Co., Louisville Tile and Matter Surfaces

Several flooring industry companies have announced key leadership appointments, bringing decades of combined experience to sales, technical services, and business development roles across national and regional markets.
Lititz Flooring Company, the Pennsylvania-based national distributor for Ava by Novalis, Capri Collections and LSI Floors named Travis Whipple VP of sales. Whipple has played a pivotal role in expanding the company's national presence, supporting over 100 sales reps across the U.S. and Canada.
Lititz also named Daniel Ortiz director of technical services. Ortiz worked as a commercial installer and project manager with experience from specification support to post-installation maintenance. He will continue to lead technical training sessions at the Lititz Flooring Training Center and provide on-site support when needed.
Kentucky-based ceramic tile distributor Louisville Tile named Mickey Trammel as its new branch sales manager. With over 40 years of experience in the flooring industry, including 25 years in tile, Trammel will focus on cultivating strong relationships within the commercial contractor business. He also works closely with the architect and design (A&D) community to secure commercial specifications in Ohio markets, including Cincinnati, Dayton, and Columbus.
Matter Surfaces, a New York-based provider of commercial flooring, is pleased to announce the appointment of Christopher Lacasse as executive vice president of A&D and contractor sales. He joins the company from J+J Flooring Group, where he spent the last decade as regional vice president.
Lacasse brings over 20 years of industry experience to his new position. In his prior role, he managed a team of sales representatives responsible for New England, including Upstate New York, Western Pennsylvania, and West Virginia. At Matter Surfaces, he will be nationally focused and build on his experience as a strategic sales executive to lead a high-performing team and strengthen partnerships with clients and stakeholders. His focus will include aligning sales strategy with company growth objectives, overseeing budgeting and forecasting, and fostering cross-functional collaboration.
