Valencia, Spain, will consolidate four major home design trade shows into a single mega-event in September 2026, creating what organizers say will be Europe's largest gathering for the interior design industry.
Feria Valencia announced that Cevisama Contract, showcasing ceramics, bathroom fixtures and surfaces, will join the existing Feria Hábitat Valencia, Textilhogar and Espacio Cocina shows. The combined event aims to position Valencia as the "world capital of the interior design-related industry."
The strategic move brings together sectors that share the same distribution channels and professional buyers, allowing architects, specifiers and retailers to meet nearly all their purchasing needs at one location. The contract segment for commercial projects is expected to gain particular prominence as major buyers can source everything from furniture and lighting to ceramics and kitchen fixtures.
"This is a strategic decision that will result in a unique trade fair event in Europe," organizers said, noting that the sectors share common specifiers and distribution channels.
Feria Valencia revived the historic Cevisama Contract brand for the 2026 edition, focusing on materials innovation and design applications. The concept targets professional visitors including architects, designers, distributors and major commercial buyers.
The current separate scheduling will continue through 2025, with Hábitat and Textilhogar taking place this September as planned. The consolidation takes effect in September 2026 when all four shows will run simultaneously under the new format.
Organizers believe current market conditions favor the unified approach, which they say will increase commercial interest from national and international buyers seeking a comprehensive European showcase for interior decoration.
