Mannington Mills has awarded "Stand on A Better World" scholarships to five students who demonstrated exceptional commitment to community service, with three recipients from New Jersey and two from Georgia. The scholarship program, funded entirely by donations from Mannington Mills associates, is in its 19th year at the Salem, New Jersey, location and its second year in Calhoun, Georgia.

Salem site recipients include Keith Murphy, the son of two Mannington employees, who earned his associate's degree in nursing while still in high school and has volunteered extensively with organizations such as Meals on Wheels and local food pantries. Sophia Wolff, daughter of a sales manager, graduated top of her class and volunteers both locally and internationally, including conservation work in the Ecuadorian Amazon. Samuel Cooke has contributed to numerous Salem County initiatives, including community restoration projects and zoo support.

From the Calhoun site, Ke'Asia Milliam and Colee Moore, both daughters of Mannington employees, have pursued nursing studies while engaging in community mentoring, coat drives, Special Olympics support, and agricultural literacy programs. All five recipients plan to continue their education at various universities this fall.

"We commend each of these students for their commitment to serving others, which reflects two of our company's Core Values—Care and Do the Right Thing," said Zack Zehner, Mannington Mills chairman of the board, noting how the recipients demonstrate making the world better through local community involvement.

Mannington Mills, celebrating its 110th anniversary in 2025, is a privately held flooring manufacturer based in Salem, New Jersey, producing residential and commercial flooring products under multiple brands, including Mannington, Amtico, and Burke.
