Unilin Technologies has announced a strategic partnership expansion with Jiangsu BBL Home Technology to integrate Comfort Core technology into the Asian manufacturer's resilient flooring portfolio. The agreement builds upon an existing licensing relationship between the two companies.

Under the new arrangement, Jiangsu BBL will incorporate Unilin's Comfort Core technology alongside previously licensed Uniclic and Unipush locking systems. The integration aims to enhance the performance characteristics of BBL's flooring collections through improved acoustic properties and underfoot comfort.

Comfort Core technology features an integrated cushion layer positioned beneath resilient flooring's surface layers. According to Unilin, the embedded system reduces footfall noise, enhances acoustic performance, and improves walking comfort compared to standard resilient flooring construction.
