Danish design studio Ege has introduced New Aspects, a design initiative that will introduce fresh patterns and colors to its Highline carpet collection on a regular basis, keeping pace with evolving interior design trends.

The inaugural New Aspects #01 collection focuses on "Color Transparency," featuring four new designs—Overlay, Fade, Shift, and Reflect—for the Highline Express Graphic collection. The concept explores how transparent layers create new colors and shapes when overlaid, resulting in fluid transitions without defined boundaries or contrasts.

Each design comes in three distinct color stories, and the collection also includes new recolors of existing Highline Express designs like Pixel Noise, Barcode Lines, and Gradient. The carpets are available in nine standard qualities for wall-to-wall installation and rugs with no minimum order requirements. Three designs are also available as tiles and planks, with a minimum order of 40 square meters.

The collection launched online May 15, 2025, with supporting materials including high-resolution images, digital sales presentations, and specialized sales tools like spinning boards and acrylic blocks to demonstrate the transparency effects.
