FLOR Grants Dream Lego Room Through Make-A-Wish

FLOR, in partnership with Make-A-Wish Georgia, helped fulfill the dream of local Lego enthusiast Bobby Baird by transforming his basement into a colorful Lego oasis. The wish fulfillment, featured on 11Alive News, showcases how the rug company's partnership creates lasting memories for children battling critical illnesses.
Interior design firm Alpha Fine Homes outfitted Bobby's space with FLOR's Hope Blossoms area rug, adding vibrant color while meeting the accessibility needs of Bobby, who has Muscular Dystrophy. The durable floorscape provides both aesthetic appeal and practical functionality for the young Lego builder.
The collaboration began in October 2024, with FLOR donating 5% of purchase prices from select products to Make-A-Wish. The partnership focuses on creating inspiring spaces through beautiful, smart, and responsible design that makes lasting impacts for wish recipients and their families.
“Since the start of our partnership with Make-A-Wish in October 2024, we have witnessed the profound impact of the wish-granting process," said James Pope, general manager at FLOR. "We’re proud to work with our local Georgia chapter to create spaces like Bobby’s that inspire confidence, joy, and hope. We’ll continue to support the non-profit and we are honored that we can help create lasting memories for children facing critical illnesses.”
