A record $155,000 was raised for people in the flooring industry experiencing hardship at a recent charity event hosted by retail giant CCA Global Partners. More than 100 golfers teed off at the Evergreen Marriot Resort's 18-hole golf course during the 4th Annual FCIF Golf Tournament.

"Before each annual tournament we set a new donation goal and we continue to reach that goal every year," said CCA co-CEO and co-chairman Alan Greenberg. "It's a great honor to be able to present the donation check."

Since 2003, CCA has raised more than $350,000 for the foundation through its golf tournaments, the company said.

"It has become as annual tradition for many of our friends in the industry to join us for a day of golf and a great reception to benefit this wonderful organization," said Howard Brodsky, co-CEO and co-Chairman.

At the conclusion of the tournament CCA presented awards for the top three foursomes, longest putt, straightest drive, closest to the pin and longest drive. More than 150 industry colleagues attended the dinner reception, CCA noted.
