Orders celebrates 50 years during 'FunDays' event

Grand prize-winning family the Millers of K & S Floor Covering were awarded $20,000 during Orders' FunDays event.

Orders Distributing Co. Inc. of Greenville, S.C., recently held its 7th annual ‘FunDays GiveAways' and celebrated its milestone 50th anniversary. More than 400 Orders customers gathered at the Grandover Resort in Greensboro, N.C., to celebrate the golden anniversary.

To attend the ‘FunDays GiveAways' event, customers were asked to purchase selected products from Orders. For every participant that purchased 125 selected items, Orders awarded a $20,000 grand prize.

Grand prizes were awarded this year to: Mike Hayes of David's Carpet Sales in Knoxville; Ben Miller of K & S Floor Covering in Columbia, S.C.; Keith Britt of Keith Britts Carpet Service in Whitakers, N.C.; and Chris Jones of Vics Decorating Shop in Norton, Va.

More than $125,000 in trips, prizes and cash were also awarded during the event. ‘FunDays' highlights included a morning round of golf, a show featuring 25 suppliers offering special prices and marketing plans, and a dinner banquet where the company celebrated its golden anniversary.
