The National Oak Flooring Manufacturer's Association (NOFMA) recently established the NOFMA Education Committee. The committee's task is to ensure the highest standards of continued education and training to member mill employees.
The National Oak Flooring Manufacturer's Association (NOFMA) recently established the NOFMA Education Committee. The committee's task is to ensure the highest standards of continued education and training to member mill employees.
Beth Maxwell of Maxwell Hardwood Flooring in Monticello, Ark. and John Jackson of Cumberland Lumber and Manufacturing in McMinnville, Tenn. are committee co-chairs.
The new committee will attempt to improve existing NOFMA programs, such as gender training. Additional schools such as Side Matcher Training are also in development. For additional information, visit www.nofma.org or e-mail NOFMA at info@nofma.org.
