Paul Murfinrecently joinedBeaulieu Residentialas executive vice president, assuming responsibility for the Hard Surface Division. An 18-year veteran of the flooring industry, Murfin spent the past 12 years with Midwest distributorshipMisco Shawnee. Murfin will facilitate the consolidation of Beaulieu's hard surface operations and administrative functions to Dalton.

In addition, Peter Ciganovich was promoted to executive vice president, Sales and Marketing for Beaulieu Residential. Ciganovich, who joined Beaulieu earlier this year, brings more than 26 years of carpet industry experience to the position.

Domco Tarkett has appointed Jan Lembregts president of the Domco Tarkett Resilient Division. He replaces John Gallo who retired in July. In his new post, Lembregts supervises all resilient functions including manufacturing, research and development, quality assurance, and product management.

Roger Oates recently joined Armstrong as vice president of residential flooring products. In his new position, Oates is responsible for all marketing aspects of the company's entire residential flooring products portfolio. Oates brings experience from previous positions at Armstrong, Wilsonart and Mannington to his new position.

Columbia Flooring has made several changes in the management structure of its sales and marketing team. Steve Bunch recently joined the company as director of business development. In his new position, Bunch will be responsible for building the company's business in various marketing channels, including retail cooperatives and commercial opportunities. John Patterson, the company's director of sales, will spearhead Columbia's new sales and distributor programs

Rug Decor, CCA Global Partners' newest floor covering group, recently named Sands Woody president. Woody will be based in the St. Louis metro area. He previously worked with Flooring America and America's Carpet Gallery.

All Purpose Adhesive Co. (APAC) recently tapped Stephen Chase as director of marketing and sales. Chase will develop APAC and Premier Tape Products & Accessories product lines and oversee the lines' North American sales team. His responsibilities include developing a marketing and advertising program, R&D and new product development. Chase brings 20 years' experience to his new position.

Lauzon Distinctive Hardwood Flooring recently appointed Steve Sharko to the position of product manager. Sharko will report to Robert Coveney, vice president of sales and marketing. Sharko is responsible for the company's product knowledge requirements, mill tours and seminars.
