Armstrong's new website, www.armstrong.com, has been designed to offer one of the most powerful consumer selection tools for online flooring, the company says. More than 1,000 floor styles can be previewed at the new Armstrong World Industries site through the use of a special "room viewer" that offers 1.5 million different view combinations.
Using the viewer, individual floor selections (floor type, style, pattern, color, and finish) can be matched with a variety of rooms/decors to give consumers a "virtual preview" that approximates their homes. The viewer includes 22 different rooms, seven wall colors and four cabinet colors. Even the direction of the flooring can be changed.
The site features four major flooring brands and 1,700 products, including 700 styles of Bruce, Hartco and Robbins hardwood floors, 200 of Bruce and Armstrong laminates, 600 of Armstrong vinyl sheet, and 200 of Armstrong vinyl tile.
