DuPont Flooring Systems, a business unit of DuPont Textiles and Interiors (DTI), has changed its name to The Invironmentalists. The change reflects a new category in the building interior marketplace that focuses on creating and sustaining interior environments.

The Invironmentalists, the Interior Services Company of DTI, is shifting its focus beyond sales and installation to complete life-cycle solutions and the continuous care of floor coverings in corporate offices, healthcare facilities, government and educational institutions, restaurants, hotels and other commercial institutional environments.

In the near-term, customers will enjoy a unique approach to total project management -- from planning through execution. In the mid- to long-term, the company will be involved in the development, sale and management of a broad array of commercial interior products and services.

The Invironmentalists is led in New York City by Nicholas J. Mazzo, vice president of sales and general manager.
