In the year since CarpetMAX Canada entered a cooperative association with Flooring America, a division of CCA Global Partners, a number of common branded programs originated by Flooring America have been introduced to the Canadian market.
"We're delighted to have Flooring Canada as an official member of the Flooring America family," said Evan Hackel, Flooring America President. "They have been using the same programs and carrying the same product mix within their stores for some time and want to be identified as having more than just carpet. Now, the brand on the outside of the store better represents what's inside."
The decision to rename the association was revealed to the members of then-CarpetMAX at their recent Member Session in Winnipeg.
With a sales volume of $150 million, Flooring Canada is made up of 67 Canadianfloor covering stores. It is part of CCA Global Partners.
