Orian Rugs, Creston ink joint marketing agreement
Creston Carpet Mills LLC, based in Chatsworth, Ga., and Anderson, S.C.-based Orian Rugs Inc. have signed a joint marketing agreement to sell a collection of tufted carpets and woven rugs.
Orian will produce rugs under the banner "Calypso Rugs: Adventures in Flooring," while Creston will offer "Val-d'Or: The Carpet Collection of Enduring Beauty." The combined product offering will be sold jointly by the same sales organization, and will be offered to flooring retailers throughout North America.
In other news, Paul Carter, an industry veteran with 32 years of sales and management experience, has been appointed vice president of Sales for Creston. The company also named Ted Lipman vice president of its Northern Division. He was most recently the Midwest Division Flooring Merchant for Home Depot.
Pat Muschamp, former National Accounts Manager for Nourison, has been appointed vice president of Creston's Southern Division. In addition, Larry Davis has been named vice president of the Western Division. Davis previously held sales management positions with Beaulieu of America and Queen Carpet Mills.
