Ed Metcalf, a member of Laticrete since 1985, has been promoted to senior vice president, Sales and Marketing for the company. His most recent role was as vice president of Sales, North America. In his new position, Metcalf oversees and coordinates initiatives from Marketing as well as those of Sales and Technical Services.

Jack Rogers has joined Clayton Miller Commercial Carpets as vice president of Sales. This newly created division will develop marketing and sales opportunities in the retail and healthcare markets, and service national accounts and chain store entities.

Rogers brings more than 20 years of experience in floor coverings to his new post. He began his formal career in sales with Carriage Industries in 1982 before running his own contract floor business in Dallas for several years. He was also a regional vice president for the World Contract division of Mohawk. Prior to joining Clayton Miller, he served as director of Operations for J&J's Contract Services division, and director of Retail Sales for J&J.

David Kurtz has been named National Sales Manager - Builder for Armstrong Floor Products. He is charged with developing sales programs for the builder and property management markets, and ensuring sales coverage for an array of channel customers.

Bill Storey, a 15-year veteran of Karastan, has been named senior vice president and manager of Karastan Rug and Home, the business unit formed by Mohawk Home several months ago to focus on decorative area rugs, home fashions and accessories. Storey assumes the position vacated by Phil Haney, who resigned to pursue other opportunities.

Storey most recently was vice president of sales and national accounts for Karastan area rugs. He now will be responsible for all sales, marketing, design, and product development for the Karastan Rug brand.
