Columbia Flooring's Ellery engineered red oak plank

Columbia Flooring has added three new lines of engineered plank -- the Dales Collection, Ellery and Rustic Cherry.

Dales is a collection of longstrip hardwood-plank flooring that utilizes a glueless installation system. The product’s dimensions are 9/16-inch thick, 7 7/8-inches wide and 8 65/8-inches long, with a 3.6 millimeter sliced face and a stable middle core made from quartersawn spruce pickets. The line, which is manufactured with random slat placement, is available in red oak, white oak, hard maple, and merbau.

Ellery is an engineered red oak plank with a 2 1/4-inch width that is designed to resemble the look of solid-strip hardwood flooring. Ellery, which features three-ply construction, is 3/8-inch thick and available in natural, wheat, honey, cider, and cocoa finishes.

Rustic Cherry is a five-ply, 3-inch-wide rustic engineered plank with a square edge. Like solid cherry, it features many inherent color variations and wild grain patterns, according to Columbia.
