NEW YORK-- Berkshire Hathaway Inc. has acquired the remaining stake in carpet maker Shaw Industries for $354.6 million in stock.
Berkshire acquired the 12.7% stake in Shaw in exchange for 4,740 Class A Berkshire common shares, or the equivalent of the Class A shares in Class B shares.
Berkshire Class A shares last traded at $74,800 on the New York Stock Exchange, which values the deal at $354.6 million.
