Michael J. Badar has joined Armstrong World Industries as vice president of Wood Flooring, the division recently integrated into Armstrong Floor Products (AFP). Since August 2000, Badar served as chief commercial officer and co-CEO of ChoiceParts LLC, an Internet-based auto parts concern in Chicago. In his new position, Badar will work closely with Frank Ready, senior vice president of North American Flooring.

Goodwin Heart Pine recently named Daniel Boone president. Boone will oversee management of operations, sales and marketing. In addition, Boone will conduct training schools, both internally and off site.

Bostik Findley Flooring Group has promoted Steven J. Lima to technical service manager. In his new position, he will be responsible for expanding and managing technical support within the various flooring segments and assuring the technical accuracy of product information.

Boa-Franc Inc. recently tapped Chris Thompson as vice president of sales and marketing. Thompson brings 13 years of experience at Triangle Pacific to his new position. He will establish and operate from offices in Dallas.
