Also, Southern Tile Distributors Inc. in Norfolk and Richmond, Va., has signed on as a Tarkett Sommer distributor. With this agreement, Southern Tile adds Tarkett Sommer to its existing Domco Tarkett brands, including all Tarkett products. Southern Tile Distributors serves Virginia and northeastern North Carolina.
Harris Tarkett has added four distributors to its nationwide network of independent distributors, bringing to 10 its total number of new distributor appointments in the past year. Misco Shawnee, headquartered in Maryland Heights, Mo., distributes Harris Tarkett products in parts of Ohio, southern Indiana and throughout Kentucky from its Cincinnati-area branch. Trinity Hardwood Distributors, based in Dallas, is representing the company in north Texas. David C. Gibson Co. of St. Louis sells Harris Tarkett products throughout the St. Louis metro area, and Salt Lake City-based Midwest Floor Covering Inc. now represents Harris Tarkett in Utah.
