The retailer will offer its inventory from designers such as Eames, Le Corbusier and Mies van der Rohe directly to consumers. Slated to open this month, the new 4,500-square-foot space is located in the open-air Fashion Island shopping area.

The studio will feature voluminous ceilings, great expanses of windows and natural light, and a bright atrium that will connect the indoor to the large outdoor patio, the company says.

The new studio is envisioned as a prime gathering place for the Orange County design community, where events such as designer lectures and product previews will be conducted. All DWR Studios offer assistance in planning and logistics for business owners and facility managers.
