Michael J. Riley has been named executive vice president of Sales and Marketing for Sphinx by Oriental Weavers.

Michael J. Rileyhas been named executive vice president of Sales and Marketing forSphinx by Oriental Weavers.He assumes the responsibilities of recently retired founder and presidentJohn Graham.Riley joined Sphinx as director of marketing in 1995. His career began with Karastan Rugs in 1987. Prior to joining Sphinx, he served as national sales manager for Axmimster Carpets Ltd. Graham will continue to serve on the company's board of directors.

Tile industry veteran Bob Irey has joined National Applied Construction Products as Midwest territory representative. He is responsible for servicing NAC customers in Michigan, Indiana, Ohio, Kentucky, and portions of Western Pennsylvania, West Virginia and Tennessee. Irey will promote the company's ECB, Strataflex SAM3 and Super SAM membrane systems among the architectural/design contractor and tile subcontractor communities. Also joining the company is James McConnell, who will represent NAC products in Massachusetts, Connecticut, Michigan, Vermont, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, Maine, and portions of New York.

Jeff Allred has been appointed Schl¿ter-Systems territory manager for the company's Midsouth region, which includes Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, western Tennessee, and Alabama. Allred is a second-generation tile contractor with 17 years of installation experience and four years as an industry sales representative. Laura Westra, who was formerly responsible for the Oklahoma and Texas sales territories, will now represent Schl¿ter-Systems as territory manager for Florida.
