American Rustics, the newest offering from Mannington Wood Floors, is designed to complement today's home furnishings with the classic appeal of historic flooring. The new American Rustics wood species, Chesapeake Hickory and Brandywine Oak, are offered in five colors that were chosen to enhance the distressed nature of the wood.
Both species, which feature a stain finish, are available in 9/16-inch-thick, 5-inch plank widths with micro-bevel edges. The American Rustics engineered wood collection also features the new 7-Step UltraWear Plus Finish with ScratchResist. Billed as an improvement over Mannington Wood Floors' 25-year warranted polyurethane-aluminum oxide finish, ScratchResist is designed to provide greater resistance to everyday household scratches. All of the Mannington Wood lines will receive UltraWear Plus Finish with ScratchResist by April 1, the company says.
