During Surfaces 2001, Hartco Flooring will introduce 13 additional colors to its signature Pattern Plus 5000 engineered wood floor line. The Pattern Plus 5000 Maple series will feature nine of the new colors, while the remaining four will be available in the new Pattern Plus 5000 Ash series.

Available in oak, maple and ash, Pattern Plus 5000 features five-ply, cross-grain construction for added dimensional support. It may be installed at, above or below ground level in residential, light commercial and commercial applications, Hartco says. All Pattern Plus products feature the Permion Finishing System, which was developed to yield greater durability, easier maintenance and longer-lasting color. The 4 1/2-inch-wide and 3/8-inch-thick Pattern Plus 5000 line is available in 9-, 18-, 27-, and 36-inch lengths, as well as random lengths. The product comes with Lifetime Structural, 25-year Residential Finish and three-year Commercial Finish warranties.

Also during Surfaces, Hartco will introduce a new low-gloss finish for four existing products. Portland Strip LG, Danville Strip LG, Beaumont Plank LG, and Tamarisk Strip LG, join Provincial Strip LG in Hartco's LG Collection. The collection features solid and engineered planks and strips in either high- or low-gloss finishes. Each product in the LG Collection features Hartco's HartGuard Deluxe No-Wax Finish, featuring suspended aluminum-oxide crystals in ultraviolet-cured resins, which was developed to minimize the effects of wear and increase resistance to water spots, stains and spills.
