Upon closing of this transaction, if all conditions are met, Domcor will establish a division called HFI that will distribute hardwood flooring among other flooring products and related accessories. The HFI Division of Domcor would distribute in Canada products of existing HFI suppliers with whom it will have negotiated distribution agreements.

This distribution will follow the same quality standards and customer service that Domcor presently maintains. The new division will continue to rely on the expertise of key HFI personnel.

“This new division will position Domcor as a leader in hardwood flooring distribution in Canada, a great complement to the already prestigious status of Domcor as a prime national resilient flooring and carpet distributor,” said François Lemieux, president of Domcor.

This transaction, if completed, will benefit the suppliers involved as well as the flooring retailers by maintaining the HFI name and distribution in Canada, Domcor said. Domcor is the exclusive Canadian distributor of Domco, Azrock, Nafco and Harris-Tarkett products. It also distributes a complete line of flooring products manufactured by other companies.
