Newly launched Parterre enters vinyl floor arena
Wally Ruttgeizer, founder of Pinay Floors and principal of the former Wonder Works of America, has launched Parterre Vinyl Flooring Systems. Based in New York City, Parterre will retain many of the products and services previously handled by now-defunct Wonder Works.
T. Fred Roche, who previously worked for Crossley Carpet Mills of Canada, is executive vice president of Parterre. Roche also worked for 13 years in sales at Karastan Bigelow Commercial Carpets, where he acted as territory manager, division vice president and commercial marketing manager.
Parterre supplies luxury vinyl plank and tile flooring to the commercial, institutional and upper-end residential markets. The company's core product lines are styled to replicate the looks of granite, marble, quarried limestone, and wood in vinyl plank and tile formats.
