NEW YORK -- Manufacturing activity grew for a sixth straight month in July, though at a slower pace than the previous month, the Institute for Supply Management reported today.
Its index of business activity slipped to 50.5 percent in July from 56.2 percent in June.
Analysts had been expecting a reading of 55.0.
