NORTH PALM BEACH, Fla.—Organizers of Coverings 2002 recently announced that writer Frank Pacetta, U.S. Air Force fighter pilots Jim Murphy and Bob Branyon, writer Steve Lundin, and former NBA player Bill Walton will speak at Vision 2002, Coverings’ seminar program, from May 6-9 at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Fla.

Frank Pacetta, author of “Don’t Fire Them, Fire Them Up!,” will challenge his listeners to be effective leaders and build teamwork through motivation and management. His presentation, based on his newest book, “Stop Whining and Start Winning,” will attempt to teach executives how to create a productive work environment, to jumpstart a stalled business, to be an effective leader, and to make contact with customers and employees.

Founded in 1996 by F-15 fighter pilot Jim Murphy, Afterburner Seminars, a producer of management training seminars, will present a keynote address on May 7. Jim Murphy, president and CEO of Afterburners, and Bob Branyon will compare business to combat.

Steve Lundin, best selling author of “Fish!,” is slated to speak at Vision 2002 on May 8. Lundin will attempt to help listeners create a better atmosphere in the workplace. The writer will address employee retention and burnout.

On May 9, Basketball Hall of Famer and award-winning television sports analyst Bill Walton will speak. Walton’s awards include the NBA’s Most Valuable Player, All NBA First Team, NBA All-Star Team, and NBPA’s Oscar Robertson Leadership Award.
