Burke Industries Inc. has acquired the Endura Rubber Flooring division of Waltham, Mass.-based Biltrite Corp. Burke's BurkeMercer Flooring Products division manufactures and markets resilient tile, wall base, stair treads and traditional moldings. Endura's rubber floor tile and stair treads are installed worldwide in commercial, educational, stadium, healthcare and retail facilities. Endura and BurkeMercer will continue to operate as separate entities.

Dan Kelly of Endura will become vice president of Burke's Endura Rubber Flooring division. "We look forward to making a positive impact on the flooring market through the synergies evident in Burke Industries' acquisition of Endura," he said.
