More than 800 dealers traveled to Orlando to attend Selections 2004.

In February, more than 800 dealers were treated to an up-close look at new Mohawk product offerings and turnkey programs during Selections 2004, Mohawk's annual ColorCenter dealer convention, in Orlando, Fla. At the convention, Mohawk introduced more than 60 new product assortments and provided in-depth information regarding the company's new Colors of Spring Sale.

The sale, which runs April 4 to May 8, will feature a national television advertising campaign for Floorscapes and ColorCenter dealers. For the first time ever, Mohawk will air national ads customized with Floorscapes and ColorCenter branding, and participating retailer locator information.

Also during Selections, Mohawk devoted show floor space to expanded Custom Window Fashions selections, the company's retrofit and turnkey programs, and Mohawk's FloorCare Essentials proprietary cleaning products.

George Whalin, president and founding partner of Retail Management Consultants, and astronaut Buzz Aldrin were among those who spoke to dealers during the event's general session.
