StarNet Commercial Flooring Cooperative said it has merged with The Invironmentalists Commercial Services Network to create "a stronger and more unified industry that will benefit customers." The combined group will have 137 firms and 230 locations nationwide and continue to be known as StarNet Commercial Flooring Cooperative. The president and CEO of StarNet, Lori Dowling said, "We're excited to welcome each of The Invironmentalists Commercial Services Network members to the StarNet organization. The president and CEO of The Invironmentalists, Tim Durkin said "We couldn't be more pleased about joining forces with StarNet. This will result in the single largest network in the industry and will comprise some of the most respected names in commercial flooring. The agreement gives StarNet the exclusive rights to installation, maintenance and lift technologies previously associated with The Invironmentalists Commercial Services Network. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
