Five flooring retailers who participated in Anso Nylon's "Time For Changing Colors" sales promotion last fall can now change into Bermuda shorts and set sail for the Tropics. The winning store owners where chosen in a random drawing of dealers who participated in the carpet maker's third annual fall sales event, held in September and October last year. The company also said it will build on the success of the first three events with an Autumn 2005 promo tied to the theme "Harvest of Color."

The company said the 2004 winners, selected from each of the company's five sales regions, will each receive a Carnival Cruise for two, including airfare, to the Caribbean destination of their choice. The winners are:

Honeywell Nylon, the marketer of Anso, said this year's event, the fourth annual "Anso Nylon National Carpet Sale," will run from Sept. 1 to Oct. 15 with dealer registration set for. May 1- June 17.

The company said the theme this year, "Harvest of Color," is designed to reflect the warm colors of the autum season and entice carpet shoppers to think beyond trasditional carpet colors when planning their home décor. Included will be hues associated with the fall season including warm reds and browns.

For this year's promotion, Honeywell Nylon said it is offering a number of incentives including another drawing for a trip. Retail salespeople are also eligible for a $20 bonus for every qualifying sale of carpet made with Anso nylon.

In addition, participating dealers will receive an automatic 50 percent co-op bonus on all purchases of styles made with Anso nylon during the promo. They can also earn bonuses of up to 200 percent based on their performance compared to last year. Other incentives include marketing tools that offer the opportunity to maximize co-op funds. The company is offering pre-prepared newspaper, radio and television ads, a consumer direct mail campaign, and point-of-purchase materials, all tied to the seasonal theme of the sale.

As was the case during previous promotions, Honeywell Nylon plans to advertise on the website, HGTV.com, for the duration of the sale. By clicking on the Anso nylon banner ads, consumers can learn more about the Anso Nylon National Carpet Sale and locate participating dealers. They can also order a free copies of Honeywell Nylon's "Designing with Carpet" workbook. In addition, consumers are eligible to receive rebates of up to $50 on purchases of carpet made with Anso nylon during the promotion.
