Foamex names industry vet Richard Born to lead east region sales team

Foamex International said it has named Richard K. Born as vp of sales, east region for the Foamex Carpet Cushion division. A 30-year veteran of the flooring industry, Born most recently was Armstrong World Industries' vp of residential sales. He also served as vp of distribution for Armstrong Floor Products with responsibility for the North American distribution network, which supported four flooring brands and provided logistics services for Armstrong Strategic Accounts. Born is credited with restructuring Armstrong's sales effort to provide channel focus to key retailers, builders and distributors.
