DALTON, Ga. -- Dow Chemical Co.’s polyurethane floor covering business has announced the three winners of its “Log On to Win” Prize Giveaway.

The contest encouraged website visitors to register for a chance to win a Notebook PC, Pocket PC or Digital Camera by completing a simple registration form. Several hundred entries were submitted, the company said.

The Grand Prize of an IBM ThinkPad Notebook PC was presented to Mr. Clayton Hill, an architectural Designer with Merck & Co. Inc. The Second Place Prize, an HP Jornada 548 Color Pocket PC, went to Edward Saum, a project manager with Smith Moore Architects Inc. The Third Place Prize winner, Patrick Flanagan, interior design program director for Madison Area Technical College, received a Kodak EZ200 Digital Camera.

The online contest was a component of Dow’s ongoining effort to promote awareness of the interactive website the company unveiled last November. Architects, specifiers, design firms, facility managers, and licensees of polyurethane carpet backing products from Dow can access the website at www.dowcarpetbackings.com, www.theenhancer.com or www.lifespancarpetbacking.com. The site offers product literature, specifications, installation and application information about Lifespan polyurethane carpet backing or The Enhancer carpet backing, and the latest company news.
