In an effort to cultivate a fresh crop of sales managers for distributors and manufacturers in the flooring industry, the National Wood Flooring Association is offering a Sales Management Training school June 15 - 16 at the trade group's International Training Center in St. Louis. The two-day session is designed to improve sales team performance by training management teams to "identify, recruit, and retain an A-player sales force."

The NWFA notes that the training course is aimed at distributor and manufacturer audiences. The focus will be on getting sales teams aligned with their organization's goals and strategies while eliciting behaviors that produce results. Attendees will have the opportunity to learn how to supervise, coach, train and mentor sales forces.

The interactive workshop will be presented by Ken Stark, president of Stark & Associates. "With more than 20 years of sales, sales management and senior management experience, Stark brings real-world strategies and proven techniques to the program to achieve maximum results for attendees." NWFA says. .
