The Home Depot has completed the purchase of Creative Touch Interiors (CTI), a leading turnkey design center provider for major homebuilders in Southern California and Las Vegas. Terms were not disclosed.

CTI has become part of The Home Depot Supply's Builder Solutions Group, which offers turnkey solutions in flooring, countertops, window treatments and design services for the nation's largest homebuilders. The group targets the $25 billion in finished products and services consumed annually in new home construction. Builder Solutions Group is a part of The Home Depot Supply, a division of The Home Depot that focuses on serving business-to-business customers.

"The acquisition of CTI extends the Builder Solutions Group's reach from coast to coast, by adding the Las Vegas and Southern California markets," said Jim Stoddart, division president, The Home Depot Supply.

With its flagship location in San Diego, CTI offers customized design center capabilities and installation for flooring as well as countertops and window treatments. CTI has approximately 200 employees. CTI President Jeffery Sears, whose background includes more than 22 years in the flooring industry, will remain in his leadership role at CTI.
